The aim of Julia's research is to build fertile soils using different pre-treated organic materials and to analyse how these soils function. The soils will be built on a rooftop vegetable garden and in open field; the materials will be arranged in layers or mixed before being installed.
Reconciling nature and the city, a highly artificial environment, is an art that is practised from the scale of the building to that of the suburban territory, including that of the neighbourhood.
