Danyang Sun was a PhD student at the Laboratoire Ville Mobilité Transport. His thesis focuses on mining floating vehicle data for mobility analysis. He earned a specialised master's degree in smart mobility at Télécom ParisTech and the École des Ponts, after a master's in traffic engineering at the University of Alberta in Canada and a bachelor's in transport engineering at Southeast University in China. He has carried out research in the field of data mining applied to mobility behaviour, integrated mobility services and road-safety assessment.
